Allah does not punish a society due to its sins as long as it confesses and seeks forgiveness. But when sins become legalized, seeking forgiveness becomes absent and the punishment arrives:
{ وَمَا كَانَ اللَّهُ مُعَذِّبَهُمْ وَهُمْ يَسْتَغْفِرُونَ }
“And Allah would not punish them while they are still seeking forgiveness.” [al-Anfal 8:33]

Sheikh Kamil Ahmad studied at the Islamic University of Madinah where he graduated with a bachelors degree from the faculty of Shariʿah in 2009and later completed a post-graduate diploma in Daʿwah from the faculty of Daʿwah & Usul-ud-Din. He went on to pursue a masters degree in ʿAqidah & Contemporary Ideologies from Qassim University. His research concentrated on the New Atheism and its impact on Muslims. Over the last decade, he has lectured in various countries and appeared on a number of satellite channels, including Peace TV and Huda TV.
