When Allah’s punishment befalls, it is not avoided by trying to find away around it, but rather by removing the causes of its occurrence; for there is no fleeing from His punishment:

{ قَالَ سَآوِي إِلَىٰ جَبَلٍ يَعْصِمُنِي مِنَ الْمَاءِ ۚ قَالَ لَا عَاصِمَ الْيَوْمَ مِنْ أَمْرِ اللَّهِ إِلَّا مَن رَّحِمَ ۚ وَحَالَ بَيْنَهُمَا الْمَوْجُ فَكَانَ مِنَ الْمُغْرَقِينَ }

“[The son] replied, ‘I will take refuge on a mountain, which will protect me from the water.’

Nūḥ cried, ‘Today no one is protected from Allah’s decree except those to whom He shows mercy!’

And the waves came between them, and his son was among the drowned.” [Hūd 11:43]
