If there were nothing bad about stinginess except its attendant poor expectations of Allah, it would still be complete destruction.

And if there was nothing good about generosity except its attendant excellent expectations of Allah, it would still be complete honor, since generosity increases the strength of one's faith and certainty in it, just as it increases the admiration others have for you.
