Allah has placed mercy even in our ritual purification.

He has permitted us to wash only parts of our body that are easily accessible instead of requiring us to disrobe entirely except for ghusl. Parts that could cause us to get our clothes too wet such as our head/hair He has allowed us to wipe instead of wash.

Could we ever despair of the mercy of the One who so completely covers our needs and caters to our convenience? Could we ever doubt that the One who protects our clothes from getting too wet in this life will spare us from getting singed by fire in the next if we are sincere?
